Phase 1 Negotiations Continue
This is a bargaining update for Tuesday, August 11th, 2020.
The Association met with the District from 8:25 to 9:30 this morning. The entire discussion was around the Association’s submission of the Phase 1 Memorandum of Understanding. There were five different areas where the District wanted to directly get more information from the Association and our team clarified the Association’s position on those items.
There were no agreements made today and at this moment it appears that the next session will be Friday [August 14th] sometime between eight and 11:30 in the morning, but we have not gotten a response back from human resources on the exact timing of that session. The district has promised that Thursday evening [August 13th] the bargaining team will get the district’s counter offer, so that the bargaining team can review and be ready with questions for the district on Friday morning.
