To the members of the Woodland Education Association Bargaining Unit:
Negotiations Update
A breakthrough occurred Friday morning and WEA Leadership would like to present a proposal to our bargaining unit members. All members of the WEA Bargaining Unit are invited to join us on Monday, August 19 at 4:00 pm in the Pioneer High School Theater for an opportunity to review a proposal and to have questions answered. Those unable to attend on August 19 can attend a follow-up presentation of the same material on Monday, August 26, at 4:00 pm in the Pioneer High School Theater.
WEA Leadership respectfully requests that all questions and discussion from unit members be brought forth at one of the above two in-person meetings rather than via e-mail or text, as we are all active professional educators working to effectively manage our time at the beginning of a new school year. We anticipate we may have a document that can be distributed via email as early as August 19 for unit members to review.
